Silly ways I use Backloggery
Here's a list of ways I use the Backloggery that are probably not intended but make sense to me.
· I use the sub-platform field to indicate if I own a game on multiple platforms. But I also make multiple entries if I feel like it.
· When it's PC games, I use the sub-platform field to indicate if I own a game on Steam, or if it's a DOS game. If it's both, I yell "fuck" and move on. (this is a work in progress)
· I ignore the review tab for the most part to be glib in the much more visible Notes, which are usually used to actually put progress-related info.
· When the site was revamped I added a bunch of games I don't really intend to play because I could give them the Shelved status. I'm kinda changing my mind about this so I might remove some.
· I don't actually add games anymore unless I actually start playing them, so that I don't end up with a ton of entries for stuff that I own for more casual reasons.
· On a related note, sometimes I mark a game as "Endless" even though it has a win state because I don't give a hoot about the campaign and just want to fuck around.
